EPKS / APKS

EPKs (Electronic Press Kits) are Beta SP cassettes or DVDs with press footage for TV reports on cinema films. In general they include the trailer and the teaser of the respective film, various selected pictures from the shooting (B-roll) and interview clips with the protagonists. Sometimes there is also an about 5 minutes long featurette, which is a pre-edited, non-sound contribution for short TV commentaries on the film. The featurette is a popular support for small regional TV stations, as it reduces the editing work and costs.

Usually, an EPK is about 30-60 minutes long. It is delivered to film journalists via analogue Beta SP cassettes or DVDs.

On request, we also produce EPKs copies to favorable prices.

We think that in the future EPK´s contents will be called up via Internet. S&L Medienproduktion is well prepared to meet this development, as our press release server is an ideal and reliable source also for the demands of Video broadcasting. Furthermore, we offer Video Coding for Internet streaming and DVD.

The APKs (Audio Press Kits), are editorial formats composed and copied on CDs to support the radio stations.
