What is it like to grow up in a world where compassion and affection are secondary and pride "in the nation" is paramount? In an environment where every day one is trimmed to reject the supposedly "foreign"? In an unusual combination of documentary and animated film, KLEINE GERMANEN provides insights into the structures of families in the extreme right spectrum.

The animated story runs through the film as a "red thread" and recounts the tragic life of the personally affected Elsa: As a child she played soldier with her beloved grandpa. With her right arm outstretched, she shouted "For leader, people and fatherland" and was very proud of it. Today she looks back on a childhood that was built on hatred and lies and tries to understand what this education has done to her and her own children.

S&L Medianetworx GmbH has taken over press relations for KLEINE GERMANEN.
